Mission

The Discipline of Turkish Folkloristics is to compile the oral, written and material elements of culture within the historical Turkish geography, to examine and evaluate the compiled elements in line with the methods and theories of the folkloristics discipline, to contribute to the development of cultural studies in the Turkic World, in line with the data obtained from the studies carried out, to identify the basic principles that carry Turkish culture to the future. He continues his academic studies to determine the dynamics.

Vision

To be a pioneer department in its field with research on Turkish culture and the highly qualified, expert, researcher and versatile individuals it trains, and to train individuals who can carry out professional work by considering the dynamics of Turkish culture in public institutions and the private sector.
